Audio amplifier problems. Somehow my rear channel is cooked. I'm not sure but I assume there's two channels front and rear. The rear speakers in the rear quarter panel trim are cracking and popping on and off. Am I the only one that has this issue. Does anyone know about this system and what has to be replaced thanks

I don't know.... but there are a lot of threads on there about HK Stereo software updates. Perhaps your problems are related to that. Do a search here for HK and see what comes up.

My car has 100 miles on it and the left channel is cutting out intermittently - perhaps 20% of the time its out, regardless of source (i.e. radio/SXM) - I think its the whole channel because both the dash and door speakers on the left side stop vibrating when it occurs.

Also, I hit the max volume (38?) without even trying - I was like "that's it?" and why a max of 38? A max of 100 would be cooler.

Seems like a $400 system not a $2,000 system. I wonder if there is any way to upgrade it without losing all the integrated features.

Pos system. Mine sounds like a good am radio (if there is such a thing) regret purchasing this . Hit or miss with sound from front dash speakers, sounds like sound is coming out of a tin can...a very expensive tin can. What a waste of money. I will never purchase a HK stereo sytem again

did you get this fixed and what was replaced?

I have a very similar issue.....my left channel cuts out when im cruising and then hit the gas. if I just cruse it works great but after cruising and then full throttle it cuts out. I can get it to do this every time.

I have had the early May upgrade on my system and it does exactly what yours is doing. Maybe we need another system upgrade.

Just got a scoop from a close dodge parts guy. I tried to buy two speakers from dodge parts. Cannot buy seperate at this time. There is a note in the computer for techs. Do not change speakers this will not help issues. Srt knows of this issue on certain 2015 cars. Techs are told to contact support for some type of computer re flash. They are working on fix since end of April. I'll post if I hear more.

At first I was bummed out car didn't come with the HK system for 2k I thought I could add on and save money. Now with all the complaints about the HK system glad I stuck with the 6 speaker system sounds pretty good in my car needs a little more bass but in time I can add that.
