We went for a drive last night in rural Minnesota. One of the features that I really like is the auto hi-beam headlamps! These work awesome and you have lots of light when you might have not switched it yourself! Great feature (esp. if you are possibly traveling somewhat fast)!

For safety reasons, they do pretty well.

I've noticed that they will often dim unnecessarily when I approach highly reflective signs.

That is OK by me as long as I am not blinded.

I love them too but must confess I am not sure how they are so good at what they do. How do they see taillights so far away?

My auto high beams work pretty well, except when it's foggy. Then they turn on & off. Not a complaint about out HC's but an obs. I just turn them off until out of the fog. ;)

Mine suck. They activate on streets where there are no oncoming cars when it sees street lights. And sometimes way too late when there ARE cars coming. Wish it worked as advertised. Turned it off.

Mine dim late too. Don't want to blind on coming traffic. Even for a moment
