So the car I lucked out getting my name on yesterday has been in a BX "ready for scheduling" status since January 15th. On average how long is the wait from BX to built? Just curious. The dealer said that it should be picked up soon but couldn't say when.

And for what it's worth the dealership said it was not in a "C" status with my name put on it.

No way to tell you, that's the $64,000 question everyone wants to know. First it has to be picked up in one of the monthly cycles, then it goes D and gets a VIN, then goes D1, then gets built. Takes about 24hrs to go through the full build cycle. Then it has to be released from the plant and shipped. Shipping can take anywhere from 1 week (normal cars to a dealer) to a month or more. Right now there just isn't a timetable on anything Hellcat, and any dealer who tries to tell you otherwise is just guessing.

Hemi...no way to tell. Find out how many with VONS/BX are in front of you with older order dates. If you are #1, you should get the next alloc......30-60 days perhaps. This is where I am with my dealer and owner said 30-60 days...hopefully. He guessed delivery in June, but I am mentally prepared for August. I hope he is under promising and will over deliver. He was straight up and said he didn't know to a lot of my questions. I respect that as some dealers will say anything you want to hear to get the order. Just sit back and enjoy the stories of the forum members. We can live through their experiences until ours get home.

Agreed I'm more than prepared to wait. Hell last week I was number 11 on a list at another dealer and this week I'm number one with a completed order and allocation. I was just feeling out how long others have been waiting.

I have been in BX and BG since 9/9/14 which is 6 months and no Hellcat. If you placed your order on January 15th you can expect your Hellcat between next month and next year or never. Wecome to the Hellcat zone!

You need a slide calculator, a programable calculator, a telescope, 4 paperclips, an old phonograh turntable, 2 blocks of swiss cheese, a black hole and a monkey throwing darts.

Thanks for the detailed answer. I'm in BX now and have had the same question in my mind. I figured it may be mid-late summer. I was offered to purchase one yesterday but it was not the color I wanted. I believe this car may still be available if someone is interested.
