TFL claims they MIGHT have spotted AWD SRT 392 and Hellcats being tested.

Likely it would be a bit slower overall, but less experienced drivers would be able to get traction. I don't see why they'd test such a car at high altitude.

That hellcat didn't seem awd. Didn't see a front driveshaft in the front hub.

Having said that, I fast fowarded most the video. Had the sound off.

AWD and launch control is for little boys....if you want to play with the big boys learn how to launch a high HP car..

    Definitely not AWD.
AWD front calipers mounted to the front of the steering knuckles.

It's not AWD.....virtually no way in hell they make the cars AWD. Now it would be cool (quicker out of the hole easily) and I could almost convince myself it would make a better vehicle than the likely SXT AWD Rallye I'll probably buy before next winter for the daily grind (nope, no cat for me :( right now)

My thoughts are that they might be testing a new higher HP tune in high attitude conditions...

The guy (Roman? Reuben? Romulan?) who hosts those videos is continually spewing bad or outdated info...almost unwatchable.

Yup...they also manage to get the worst results from most cars they test. Recently they raced a Hellcat against an AWD Jaguar. The Jag was driven by a pro driver and guess who drove the Hellcat, which made it certain that the Cat had no chance. On top of that the race was so short it was laughable, but that guaranteed that the Hellcat had no chance to catch up.
At the end they agreed the Hellcat would be the faster car anyway. What colossal idiots.
