The bubble for M6 has been bursting for a while. Let's run a poll and find out how many wants A8 vs M6...

Let's run that by state. Nothing is bursting in Massachusetts. Still 10k over here.

I agree M6 market is weaker than A8, but the hellcat bubble in general has burst. I for one am extremely happy about this. The only bad thing about this is a lot of people are going to be upside down in there car if they paid a dealer ADM.. I hate seeing that.

    Here's a manual for 79k
    Cars.com
Guess it's better than the one that was listed for 92k last week.

Here is one for 61k.. There are 29 pages of NEW hellcats for sale, the bubble is popped and wait until the 17s hit and these dealers are holding all these 16s.. At this point if some pays over sticker it is there own fault or don't know how to use google.

I guess if somebody can travel like that it's great. Pretty tough if you have trades.

When you ask someone how do they purchase/research a vehicle they aren't going to say they "Google" the vehicle.

Fact of the matter is in some areas there is an ADM and in some areas there is not. I don't know the age group purchasing a hellcat but you can bet the majority of the owners aren't 18-25 whom are internet savvy. Some folks still go into the dealership to buy vehicles than to look on autotrader, cars.com, etc.

I bought my cat locally, no internet, no cars.com. They had a 4k Mark up and it was priced at $76000, I offered them $70000, they said no , a week later they said yes.

I used to have sales managers try to play that game with me when I worked for Auto Trader as a buying objection-people will just google "hellcat" or whatever and I will be on page 1...then they smile and show you how much they are wasting in paid search...listings with good descriptions and video rank very high organically. It is so irritating with google and bing is even worse-when you keyword search and get a bogus ad landing page that is close to what you were looking for-I have a very low bounce tolerance
Reality is google is good for some things but not specific shopping-that's were 3rd party sites like Cars.com and Auto Trader come in. I found mine on Auto Trader used 100 miles away-99 high res pro level pics...1 owner babied and garaged-they even had it in the showroom-called them, got with a good salesperson, negotiated to within $250 of the final price with trade (mint SRT8 2010 M6 Plum 34k miles) via text.
Drove in and drove out easy peasy.

Most likely because it's BS blue...which sometimes can be kinda dull...or streaky...depending. :D

Now if it were a B5 blue.....
