I noticed at the beginning of this week they showed b5 blue and auto as options. Got in contact with dealer but could not get off work early until Friday. Printed out my build sheet at 2:00 pm but it shows manual only transmission. Figured would figure it out at dealer, Got to dealer at 4:00 pm. He pulls up Dodge site, it's no longer listed as a color option, he said they discontinued it. What the hell?

I wouldn't rely that much on the website. It seems to change over and over...call it Hellcat growing pains. I have my order in since 10/22 and have a long wait to go before I actually have to lock in the color/options before it gets to D status. I first had my order put in w/Bright White then changed it to Pitch black. Now I'm looking to go either B5 or Jazz Blue but will wait to my order starts to move up the chain before I ask my dealer to change it again.

As long as your order is in, you will have plenty of time before you get to the "lock in" state.

Thank you for the info, he didn't seem to really know much about ordering and I don't know anything either, is there some info somewhere on how the system works?

Better read up on this site. #1 make sure your dealer is an SRT dealer and has allocations, but maybe you should check other dealers ( least you will learn some things)

Well, if your dealer didn't know much about ordering a car from the factory, I would look for another dealer. I'd rather not have them learn the process on my order.

Maybe try a different salesman, he said they currently have 4 on order and asked about another color and B5 or none. I also asked about price and he said it would be whatever msrp was depending on options and 1,000 down to place the order. Thought that was good after hearing about some jacking up the price. Thanks for the info guys and will try getting with the manager next week.

There is allot of dealers out there that are uneducated about hellcats, and think it's reasonable to inflate the msrp... the dealer I buy all my cars from,, the same dealer that will come in off vacation, and the same dealer that let me test drive the mangers pre delivered wife's car was going to charge me market value..I asked what that meant, he said in no other words, it's going to be over msrp

Try connecting with the General Manager. A car of this magnitude deserves a high level of attention. My sales guy and I worked with the General Manager to place the order. The GM orders the cars and knows the process.;)
