    I'd keep it at 2 feet minimum so I have room to walk around it:D

    18 mm is what I hear

    Backspace = 1/2 outside rim width + offset (if positive) 10.5 outside rim width 5.25 + .703 (18 mm ) = 5.953 backsspace

    You seem pretty knowledgeable on the wheels. How can I tell if a wheel will fit before buying and trying? In looking at a couple, one 20x10 with a 20mm offset.
    Another with a 25mm offset. Both come in 10.5 too. Want to use for track with Mickey Thompson 305/35/20 DR's. Any opinion or recommendation? Companies said for Hellcat but how will they fit with that tire? I know people have put these on stock rims without issues. Any help would be appreciated!

    People selling wheels are in most cases refering only to wheel fitment for the reason you have already stated, they dont know what tire you will be putting on. So when you ask them questions listen closely to there response about what they are saying and ask tire info with facts such as Tire diameter ( not rim diameter)and width etc.

    Well None of the Companies selling the wheels will recommend anything over the stock size tire. So I guess it's a $1200 guess? Or wait until someone else tries the same wheel and tire combo.

    There are several wheel tire combo calculators you can use to bounce the stock combo to modified combos. A couple of these are RimsnTires.com and Wheel-Size.com. I replaced the stock rims and summer tires with foose legends 22x10.5 with michelin super sport tires 295-30x22 and the dimension results from the calculator were dead on. For the 295-30 the rear fit fine put the front i used a 1/8 spacer, you can grind down a little nipple at the top of the spindle arm and not use the spacer. The height of the front tire is limited to about 3/4 inch taller than stock because of the ball joint bolt (which can be shorten if you cut the threads below the nut) and the section width can not be more than approx. .4 inch greater than stock if no spacer or grinding. In short , the calculator will give you dimensions and you can measure on your car, i used the calculator and purchased my tires before i had the car.

    One thing i forgot to add, remember to add 1 inch to rim width to get outside rim width used in calculators. Example, hellcat rims are 9.5 but that is tire mounting inside rims lips, they are approx. 10.5 outside width used for calculations.

    Ricci, please disregard the last post about calculator using outside rim width, double checked and the tire mounting width (inside) is what the rimsntires used. sorry
