Barth 900 rwhp E85 Package Question

    Just probably a silly question about the E85 package, is the module set up to run both 93 Octane and 85 Octane? Or is it strictly 85? I'm looking for an answer on the website but have no luck finding it sadly. Thank you in advance!

    You can do 93 octane but only for driving . No WOT , boost lvl is to high

    It's not 85 octane, it's 85 ethanol... Which is 100 - 103 octane. But, to answer your question I'm not sure how Tim tunes his cars. In order to run e85 and pump 93 you'd need a flex fuel sensor. Unless you'll be completely draining the tanks and switching fuels then he can save both tunes on your handheld (if you have one). Again, not sure how Tim works.

    From what I have seen with my own car plus others is you need to order these things from Tim:
    Diablosport tuner
    180 degree t stat
    Legmaker intake
    2.65 upper pulley
    Innovators West or ATI lower pulley
    JBA off road mid pipes (catless)
    ID 1300 injectors
    Gates HD supercharger belt
    Kenne Bell boost a pump
    And a metco idler puller DONT SKIP THIS
    Tune

    I believe that covers the contents of the package. He will get you everything you need.

    As far as running 93 octane gas, you will have to also order a 2.85 upper pulley and tune for that. This is what I did. He first tuned my car on 93/2.85 pulley and with less than a quarter tank of gas. Then have some gas cans with e85 and put that in the car and switch the upper pulley to the 2.65 and he will give you an E85 tune.

    The switch from 93 to E85 and pulley was worth about 130 horsepower on my car.

    I did not want an offroad pipe or have to change pulley's if I couldn't find E85 and I ended up with 815 RWHP using a 2.85 upper/stock lower. I also got 3 tunes: E70 (winter blend), E85 (summer blend), 93 octane pump gas

    My use is street and the track for competitive fun...

    Still struggle with traction with 305 Nitto 555s :D...this was the right package for me.

    Even this set-up required a DSS driveshaft so keep that in mind.
