Nice day today, so got out there and performed the surgery. Got to drive her bit and it is incredible. I had installed the Hurst in my last Challenger. Even from the short time I got to drive her today I will say that the Barton is superior, and I loved the Hurst.

was it hard to install? It looks good. I wonder if it could be ordered without their name on it?

Not a hard install at all. One front pin is a bit of a hassle to get in there, especially with big hands that I have. But, other than that not too difficult.

You can. Barton shifter is much stouter. Also a four bolt catch off instead of two.

The shifting is great. Did not get to really hammer on it today. No highway stuff. Just some normal spirited driving today. I loved it.
I also have talked to a company about a custom shift ball. It will be a very close color to B5 Blue, if not B5. I was told to give them a call back closer to April. They are in negotiations with Dodge right now, working on getting all the necessary rights. They will be making a ball for me in their first set of runs. It will have a Hellcat head emblem etched on top and I have not decided yet what I want on the sides if anything. Was going to get 707 on either side but I am adding power in spring so that is out. LOL. May get my license plate idea put on there. But that's a secret. LOL.

The shift is much nicer. Seems more mechanical and precise than stock. I just installed mine a few weeks ago and have less than 50 miles on the new shifter due to weather. Will keep you updated as I get more seat time

that shifter looks awesome, good choice on the black handle.
What thread pattern is that shifter handle/ball anyways??
I'd prefer one with no shift pattern engraved in the top.

Also can anybody expand on whether or not the Barton shifter is taller than the stock one?
There seems to be some conflicting information on this,
Is the barton shifter with the barton shifter handle taller than stock?
is the barton shifter with the stock handle taller than stock?
the shorter throw with a better feel but with a slightly taller shifter would be cool. I'd even consider a shifter ball that has some sort of extension threaded insert in the bottom of it to raise it about an inch or more.
