Chose this forum instead of the electronics one, though it might be an electronics malfunction.

Last drove my Charger Hellcat Friday.
After sitting over the Labor Day weekend, all electronics appeared dead this morning when I went out to start the car. Interior lights didn't work when I used "key" to open door.

I called roadside service. They are sending a "jump" (if that is sufficient).

I hooked up a battery tender (hoping for a miracle), maybe the battery is barely low.
After revisiting is about 20 minutes, I noticed what seems to be the sound of an actuator cycling every couple seconds. While I didn't notice this before doesn't mean it wasn't doing it when I first tried starting the car. The sound is in the instrument panel or the engine bay (not sure).

    Any ideas?

I say, charge her up, jump her off and get to the dealer and let them do a battery load test. I have had a few NEW batteries in new cars go bad quick and completely fail. If you have a battery issue best just to get that defective battery out and replaced under warrantee. I would try that 1st and rule out a bad / defective battery / alternator. I have also found the battery testing done at Auto zone etc is not reliable in my area. My dealer does a much better job at load testing.
FYI, I keep one of these jump boxes around just in case. 12 Volt Power Supply and Jump-Start I have helped stranded people many times and have had it work when jumper cables would not! Best $50 I have ever spent!

Wrecker came and we tried to jumpstart the Hellcat. Notta. Notta thing. No interior lights, no head lights, no auto door locks, but electric seats worked (go figure).

    My two options:
    1. Have car towed to dealer (and hope it doesn't get scraped, especially the front facia)
    2. Pull the battery and take to dealer for an exchange

My paranoia went with pulling the battery. I pulled the battery and will take it to the dealer tomorrow morning.

Yea, Im not looking forward to towing you did the right thing as these cars are low. keep us posted as that is strange it wont jump. Did he use a jump box or cables? I tell you I just ran into a situation when jumper cables would not jump it but a $50 jump box did.

He had a jumper box that he left connected to my battery for about 15 minutes with no apparent positive effect. He tried to start about 5 times. All of this time with the driver's side door open there were no interior lights. Though the starter button showed its "off" light lit.

Helpful tools to have for battery removal:

10mm combination to loosen battery terminal cables.
Flat head screw driver to pry open battery terminals.
10mm socket with a long extension and pull handle or ratchet to remove battery locking bracket.

I took the battery to the dealer today. The battery tested out as having a bad cell.
They gave me a new battery. I took it home and installed it in my Hellcat.

I drove to the dealer to have it checked out.During my drive no codes showed in "Diagnostics". When the technician did a check and test drove, a CEL occurred with four (4) different codes.

I left the car and got a rental. When car is fixed I'll post the findings.

All's well that ends well. I hope you are not paying for your rental. Are you?

1st model year with un-consumer tested high performance car led me to purchase an extended warranty with paid rental. I believe this gives the dealer an additional incentive to place my maintenance at the front of the line. The longer my car sits, the greater the dealer's costs.

Well... a new PCM was not the solution.
The Service Adviser called me to give me an update. With the new PCM they found a problem with a pump (I believe he said inter-cooler pump, but I'm not certain. I was being distracted when he was on the phone with me - kids)

The part will be in on Monday morning. I was given permission to call the technician directly. I plan to call him around noon Monday.

I was told my Hellcat should be ready on Tuesday. We'll see.
