Is anyone using a Battery Tender on infrequently used Hellcat to maintain battery charge. Any issues or precautions ?

They work great, check and see if yours is for gel or regular battery.

Yep, sure beats a dead battery. My Shelby has been hooked up to one for 8 years with no issues.

    Assume Hellcat is regular battery.

It should be just a regular lead acid battery. If it was a gel battery it would say AGM on it.

w/o it you will most likely have a dead car by spring

my 392 challenger lasts about 30-45 days w/o
    my gt500 will last 60-90 days w/o

both would be dead by Spring

just get a mid level one off Amazon.com...i think mine was like $30

These batteries will die in winter storage if not trickled.

Don't use a trickle charger, that will overcharge your battery and cook it. Use a battery tender. It monitors the battery and turns on when needed

We have tenders on my 09 SRT8 and my wife's '14 Camaro.
So we have my HC in D1 and her's on order...what we do next year will depend on what we still have, but we know a tender is the way to go from what we have done in the past...if you store it, protect it !!

From my understanding the actual brand Battery Tender Plus will not overcharge like some similar products can do
