I didn't like how the negative battery terminal didn't have a cover over it like the red positive side. I ordered Mopar part # 04606858AA, and using flexible black bumper paint, painted it black, and made my own. Just an idea in case anyone noticed the same issue.

Are there provisions for the nubs to fit in on the NEG terminal?

Negative cables don't need a cover. Same deal for just about everything. Lawn tractors etc. only positive is covered. Pretty tough to hit it with anything where it is located.

If anything, a lockable battery cover would be cool, for those who valet their cats. This wouldn't allow the valet to disconnect the battery to defeat the valet code.
Haven't heard of this happening, but there is always a first time.

All it takes is one socket and about 10 mins.
