So i just got back from taking the car for a drive. Its raining here in NM and I got it home just before the storm hit. When I got it parked in the garage and got the garage door closed, what sounded like an electric fan kept running (keys were away from the car in the house), and a mid-high tone beep kept going off every 5 seconds or so. Eventually the fan stopped running continuously (beeping has stopped by now), but what sounded like an electric motor/fan kept starting up, and shutting back off. Now remember, the car is OFF. Not in Acc or Run. The motor sound finally stopped so I started the car again, went to the diagnostics, and there was nothing. I've only had the car about 2 months, but it's never done this before. Any clue what it could be? Seems to be starting okay, but I was just a little confused at the time.

I figured it was something along the lines of a cooling issue. My rock crawler has an aftermarket fan setup that does that until it hits 195. I was more thrown off by the beeping. The boyfriend and I started joking that my car is probably a transformer.. haha

Not on a Charger it's pulse width from ECM so no signal with engine off (15 power). There's been a few times fan is on high putting mine away and when the car is shut off so does the fan.

Sound from inside or outside of the car?
Any correlation with door(s) being opened?

The sound was definitely a little bit louder once I got back in the car, but I couldn't figure out where it was coming from before it stopped.
