i love the stock exhaust. Best sounding exhaust ive ever heard. And i love the deep gargle. But sometimes i wish it was a but louder..
So i ordered the magnaflow axle back pipes which is a reso delete basically..
Not sure if ill noticed a difference now that i think of it. And everyone is doing mid muffler deletes but i feel it loose the deep rumble? Havent heard one in person only over my phone/computer videos..

Anyone have any input on this? Much appreciated!

I went with the MagnaFlow Axle-back and was pleased with that route. IMO, the exhaust note became slightly louder, deeper, and fuller. The wife doesn't complain, which was my initial concern.

Plus the tips look more aggressive.

Awesome, That is the answer i was hoping for.. I put my order in threw speedlogix friday and been having second thoughts about it. As is is not very cheap set of axle backs when most people are just cutting out the reso and welding in a straight pipe in replacement which is a lot cheaper but IMO the half ass way.. Don't want to cheap out on my car.

luv the stock exhaust as well, especially in Sport mode..
My Scat Pack (wife's driver) has a higher pitch scream which I actually prefer over my Hellcat sound--If I could find a higher pitched tone I would go that route. Actually wonder if Scat Pack mufflers would be better on the HellCat..

Why would it be half ass? The axle back is just a resonator delete to begin with. You're really paying for the all stainless construction. You can buy a new set of tips and have the local exhaust shop cut out the resonator at a fraction of the cost. Pay a little extra and get an all stainless pipe welded in.
The mid muffler delete might cause too big of a loss in back pressure. I've heard of complaints about the car being less responsive, etc.

If you are still in the market, check out our Solo Performance catback exhaust kits for the Hellcat which retail full functionality of the valves. We have one in a subdued version (15% louder and deeper than stock), moderate aggressive version (25% louder and deeper), and full out aggressive (35-40% louder and deeper). Feel free to check out our vendor section and to call me directly at 516-655-9002.

I completely understand the "resonator delete" approach, where you cut out the resonators and weld in a pipe. I considered that too, but went with MagnaFlow's axle-back when I saw their tips and heard the ease of installation.

They make both a Charger and Challenger axle-back (I haven't seen their Challenger tips). But I really liked the Charger tips.

I think I'm leaning towards getting a Borla ATAK exhaust

So am I. I was very happy with my last 2 Borla setups. The most recent was the ATAK.

Monday I put on the Summit Racing electronic butterfly cut outs with remote. I absolutely love it!!! I can adjust how much sound I want using the remote. It cost me around $500 for the parts, and its about 2 hours labor.
