Picked these up from a buddy who had his original Hellcat wheels stripped then Black Chromed. I had the rears widened to 10.5" and have Contiextreme DW 315/35ZR20's on the back. This is how this car should have come from the factory

You are 110% correct! That is how the car should have come from the factory! Those wheels rock!

    Ghostcat,
Where did you get the wheels widened? What did it cost? Did they add a 1" section in the middle of the wheel's barrel, or cut the wheel and add a wider half on?
They look great. What was the finish?

Guys it looks sick but widened wheels are orders of magnitude weaker than a non-welded wheel. If need be I will post a thread all about it if you guys want.

Got them done by Weldcraft. They added 1" to the inside opposite side from the outer face. So all the added width goes into the wheel well. They balanced perfect and no vibrations whatsoever. Weldcraft is a top notch company and they have done thousands of wheels and everyone I talked to was super satisfied including me. I have no concerns about strength.

Did Weldcraft put the finish on them? Or did you have them powdercoated?

Finish done by Detroit Wheel and Tire. Not powder coat. It is called PVD coating.

With what, or how did they finish the wheel? Sorry for the 100 questions, I just like the wheels!

I have no idea but they told me of the thousands of wheels they have done they never had one fail and many of their wheels are done for racing applications and high HP cars.
Would be interested in your article tho.
