Has anyone else had a problem with the center display being too bright at night? I tried to go into settings tonight to change it when the headlights are on and it wouldn't let me change it. It was greyed out. It would however let me change the brightness when the lights are off. Seems to me like the system isn't recognizing when the headlights are on. Please let me know if anyone else is having this same issue or found a work around or a suggestion.

    Thanks

Sounds like a reset is in order. Disconnect battery for 5 mins..

Probably a silly question but have you tried the dimmer wheel on the left of your console?

Mine was the same brightness all the time so I adjusted the wheel to the middle detent. Problem solved. Bright in the day and much dimmer when the lights go on.

The dimming wheel has two detents at the top and one at the bottom. First one at the top keeps your dash lights daytime bright even with your headlights on. Perfect if you use headlights like DRLs or in daytime rain etc. The second detent on top turns on your interior lights.

The bottom detent keeps your interior lights from coming on when you open your door.

Adjustment in the middle allows you to tailor the brightness of the dash during nighttime driving.
