    Top Cat,

I hope Johnny has considered at least putting safety loops on his driveshaft. He has put a lot of pressure on it racing at the track and I won't want his car getting messed up.

I noticed the DS problems stemmed mostly from wheel hop ! I'm running the stock rim with Nitto 305's , I haven't experienced any wheel hop at all! The width of the tire may have something to do with it though! I definitely will look into the loop!

Think of it as battle scars or patina , but seriously once the computer senses the rotation of the rear wheels not being where they should be the car will go into limp, one of the reasons for the ring tones on the half shafts.

I you saying that running with 305 35 20 tires is going to throw the car in limp mode?

Has nothing to do with tire size,LOL all tho you could go into limp if you over rev the car. the computer is checking a lot of different things, one of which is rear wheel speed, no drive shaft wheels are not turning at the correct speed, limp mode....

You would need more than 1 drive shaft loop if you are hoping to save your undercarriage,

Getting my drag radials soon. Has dodge done anything to beef up the drive shaft or do i need to replace it?
And, if you did replace it, did you buy yours online?
    From whom?

May I ask why not CF after reading what DSS wrote about shafts untwisting sending shock to driveline?
