She still is just sitting. Was told would be delivered two weeks ago, of course I could see window sticker. It even pops up on dealers inventory.
And I get told, "well it's on hold awaiting a pick up from transporter" also heard possible reflash needed. pissed over not hearing nothing! WTH,Dude, where is my car!? ... Ok, feel little better now.. Pearl White, Sepia, 6mt,NAV

Sorry, Bud. If it's any consolation, I don't even have a VIN yet, and my deposit was made mid July, order placed 9:40 am on 9/9. You're still WAY ahead of me.

I feel your pain. My car was almost 2 months from completion of build to delivery. Transportation has quite a bit to do with it. Lots of days off...o_O

is it the case that 'cats going to large urban areas tend to leave the holding area and get on down the rails quicker in general, or does there seem to be no pattern?

No pattern. I am small town, although the Capital, small compared to the cities in my State. Was one of the first in Washington to get my Hellcat!

have you seen any transport trucks arrive? is there every type of vehicle including SUV's and pickups on there so it's just a matter of getting a full load of anything...other than dumptrucks or whatever taller vehicles there may be? did your rail transport end in Portland?

Yes and Yes. My car arrived in the middle of a minivan and pickup. It took the rail to Portland and then waited for a truck to pick it up there. My dealer called the trucking company because I was sitting at the dealership the day it was supposed to arrive and the trucking company had decided to take an extended holiday. They scheduled it for delivery the next day. Not sure who the parties were that got them off their butt, I was just happy to see it!:)

I know that with the Shelby the truck could give a customer more grief than a train because sometimes they might be 1/2 a day away from the dealership and take some twisty routes for 3 days before they made it the dealership and not even call in. or. I've even known of people who SVT customer service told their car hadn't even left the holding yard and the dealer looks out the window and there's the transport truck pulling up. to me, it's not so much the long wait, it's the mind f*ck of not really knowing what's happening and what 's worst is that somebody really does know exactly what's happening. they just won't tell you.one guy on svtperformance had SVT customer service telling him his car hadn't left Area 51 yet and he was actually sitting in his car talking to her on his cell phone while she was telling him this.

anybody with any common sense has got to realize if you think much at all about the whole system beginning with "mystery allocations" that we're still in the barbaric, primitive days of vehicle buying/selling. so many people go through so much anguish for no damn good reason.
