as scheduled, my car was built the week of February 9th but has been stuck in inspection ever since. My dealer and the SRT specialist keep telling me their computer states "built but pending inspection." RS said my projected delivery date was feb 26 but that has obviously come and gone. Dealer says no delivery date as of yet. Has this happened to anyone else???

You'd be amazed at the, ahem, trials and tribulations some folks have gone through, getting these cars. Waiting for weeks, which become months, in holding lots, awaiting reflash or inspection, and that doesn't even count satin black hood hell and snowed-in railyards and parts shortages and so on. It's sadly par for the course. A wise man once said: A buyer must go through hell, to get to his cat. Oh wait, it was me who said that, oh well.

Yeah Tammie hellcat1 and I had to wait months before they released our hellcats being held at Taylor yard prison.

Many times they are held due to backups in transporting (train cars/trucks), sometimes early on it is because they would like to release a group all at once.

I have not seen in noted here before after doing a quick search, but for those who don't know it, as of a week ago I read there is a major shortage in rail cars. This could explain why it is taking a long time for HCs to make it to dealers as it is affecting all car shipments.

Mine was pulled out for Q/C extra review. BB told me about 5% of them get extra inspection and Q/C review. Not a bad thing in my mind if that is what occurred. He had thought there was a part missing as it was parked inside the factory but apparently all was fine or fixed. It added about 5 days to the process in my case. Worth the wait..great car !
