Hi guys, distracted whilst reversing off my drive I hit the neighbours van at maybe 5mph the damage is minimal to the plastic trim that runs around the light cluster.

The plastic bumper flexed nicely with no damage thankfully.

Does anyone know what the part number would be for the damaged plastic trim in the image? It looks like there are three bolts/screws across the center of the boot and that I would need to take the rear lights out to fit it.

Is the standard challenger the same trim or will it be specific to the hellcat?

    Many thanks,

    Rob

It looks like it lists for $101 USD. If you check the part number it appears to fit all years and models. I wouldn't be surprised if you also have to remove the rear fascia as well.

    Good luck.

I hate that this happened, but we all make mistakes from time to time.

It looks like "outatime" has already given you the information that you need. If you need help ordering the part, let me know, I can get you in touch with a good parts guy at my local dealer. If they will not or can not ship internationally, I CAN and will be happy to help.

image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg If I remember correctly, there is a couple of plastic wing nuts that hold the left and right tail long in behind the carpet. That peace is attached to part of the Frame around the tail lights, also the is two plastic push in clips next to the trunk rubber bumper stops, those you just pull the center up and a plastic rod that goes threw the plug will Release the sides it pushes out. A lot easier then it sounds,

Keep me in mind in the future if you need something that you cannot source in the UK. I would say Happy Independence Day to you BUT, I'm not really sure how you may take that o_O Sorry, I couldn't help myself Baldnut!:D

Thats great to know Graycat, I really hate to put on anyone though but if ever I am struggling I will PM you, many thanks!!

As for independence day, yes a happy one to all you guys over in the states :) Not sure if we should be happy or not, I don't think anyone knows yet!!

Im still working on an entry point into the USA looked at business sponsorship and also starting a business over there but running out of time as my eldest is 15 and either method only covers dependants under 18 years old. So less than three years if I am to make that one happen! :(

It is going to be very interesting to see how this "Brexit" turns out for England and for the EU. I hope that it works out well and I bet that after a few "bumps" along the way it will work out well.

What a week!!! Got caught speeding yesterday whilst in my pick-up truck 35 in a 30. Tolerance is 10% +1 so would of been fine at 34!

3 Points onto my licence will no doubt effect my insurance and then if I get caught again and end up at 6 points likely struggle to even insure that cat :(

They say it comes in three's its probably best I don't leave the house for a while!!

Sorry man. In my years on the force I never would have cited for 5mph over. 15 minimum unless it was in a school zone. I didn't drive the speed limit so why be hypocritical. I do know some guys that would cite their own mother though.

Hey mate after 48 hours of no response from Factory Chrysler Parts I followed it up with an email asking about delivery charges because they hadnt charged me delivery stating they would quote it separately and I got this unhelpful reply:

"This message from Factory Chrysler Parts is intended for Rob ******** in regards to order #1706156.
Your order has been updated as follows:

We are sorry to inform you we do not ship any sheet metal, glass, full length brake lines (length) or any over sized items. These items are not shipped due to the following reasons damage that occurs during shipping , requires a freight shipment or the part is to large to ship international. We will refund the payment and cancel the order. we are sorry for the inconvenience

    Thanks,

    FCP Sales"

So unfortunately im back to square one!

Let me know how busy you are to mess about with this for me and if you are busy I can always contact Charles Partos from 51st Autos in the UK to see if he can get one sent over. Appreciate the offer regardless if you decide to go ahead. Would need to PayPal you if we did as not sure how easy it would be to make a bank transfer to you?

Dont feel obliged mate, no harm done if its not practical for you.

    Cheers

    Rob
PS Hopefully if things happen in three's this is the third!
