Forum, I need some advice. I was all set to order a Sublime Challenger Hellcat and missed the window on a 2015. Now I was all syched to see an Orange Hue available for 2016. Reality is I can buy the exact build of 2015 Sublime I was looking for off a lot tomorrow for reasonable over MSRP price. Should I buy now or hold out for the Phantom color no one can verify is coming and then hope to get an allocation to order it in the build I want? What would you do?

What's reasonable over sticker in your area? If you can get the color you want now why wait?

It is 5k over. Only other close option I found is 3-5 over. Not sure what the deciding factor is since they can't order Orange yet.

Agree, I like it but is it really coming? Is it worth the risk to wait? The Sublime is pretty sharp too.

I would say try everything to get one at MSRP. Play hard ball and show the dealer you are serious about buying but also knowledgeable enough about increased production coming. 16 model year just around the corner.....a sold unit on his books today.....etc.

    What part of Texas?

I love the Header Orange color and think it fits the theme of the Challenger. Now as good as the "rust" orange or burnt orange fits the Jeep. It IMO is not the best color for a Hellcat. It needs to be bright or sinister looking IMO.

Buy now and never look back, it's too much fun to potentially not get a cat at all

Don't be a fool with your money. Get one at Msrp. Your buying a 60k plus vehicle then your taxed heavily on top of that. And your willing to pay 3-5K over sticker.
No way! Use that 3-5K towards mods or keep it in the bank. This is a toy a novelty the craze will wear off and you will be left upside down. Also both colors Rock!

He who hesitates has lost. Bird in hand...blah, blah, blah. These are HALO cars. You wait, you may never get a new one. Pretty simple.

Just make sure you check out the future color. It's not a bright orange. More of a copperish orange.

5k over MSRP on a brand new Cat IMO, ain't that bad. Used ones are going for more....and its a discontinued color for MY16.
