After many reads and my most recent post, I decided to sell my new gt350 for a Challenger Hellcat. So now I'm tossed between a 15 blk/blk a8 with laguna seats and 300 miles for 65,500 or a 16 white/ blk suede seats with sunroof and 1,700 miles for 69,900. The only difference I see is the warranty on power train going from 5/100,000 to 5/60,000 and some navigation functions. If I go 15' is there updates on the nav to make it run and load faster? Any suggestions would be great. Ultimately I wanted laguna seats with sunroof but can't find that combo.

65,000 is like paying msrp for a used car!!
Do your homework and pay slightly less than msrp for the 16 with your options

I think going with the 16 at MSRP is the way to go. You don't know the true history of the used car. Brand new it's yours, it's your baby, it's your burnouts. If you can afford it I would spring for the new cat

EXACTLY RIGHT, MABBRYFL30! I did the "take what was available thing", loved the car, did some modifications, loved the car more, but......along came what I really wanted in the 2016 models and it was available...so I pulled the trigger. GET WHAT YOU WANT THE FIRST TIME. I'm an old dawg and had to re-learn that old trick, much to my wallet's dismay...don't be an old dawg re-learning old tricks...

Fo you prefer black or white?
You can add more warranty to the 16.

Realistically, do you want a 300 mile or 1700 mile car. Do you want black or white. You prefer Laguna seats. I wouldn't recommend the sunroof. Essentially, for $5000 more, what are you gaining: sunroof, +1400 miles, -40,000mi on warranty, not the seats you wanted.

For me, and at 65-70k, I'd continue to look and find what met the search criteria.

I wouldn't buy a used 15 or 16 at those prices. You can get a brand new 16 optioned your way for about what they are asking for the used 16.

I waited for the 16 solely for the roof. My 15 SRT has it and i love it.

I just wanted a hellcat. I bought my 2016 hellcat challenger used, 900 miles, for MSRP. Couldnt really argue with that IMO, 65k, 70k, 75k... I guess I'm lucky enough not to have to worry about a few grand here or there. I'm used to trading in my cars and losing my ass about every 6 months anyway :p

I agree with 707 Fc7 and BIG DAWG...be patient. Keep looking for the options you really want.

While waiting for a allocation, I looked at 7 different 2015's and was able to drive one. I was making a plan B ...just in case. Then I got lucky and found a 2016 with the right options...

    Happy hunting...

The dealer should ditch the splitter protectors...It ruins the look of the car...especially that bright yellow.

They are bright yellow to alert the person loading the car on a truck or train to keep an eye on them so the splitter doesn't scrape and get damaged. Saving all involver a repair bill on a brand new, possibly unsold, car...

I would go with the black on black 15 with the Laguna and extend the warranty with the money you save 65,000 is a great price a lot of people are buying these 2016 for 70,000+ paying 10,000 or 20,000 on top of 70,000, go with the black on black, I bought a 2015 and save myself anywhere of 20 to $30,000 by doing that, trust me it's the same car as new 2016. I vote black on black "Batman"

That's my thought 15 with 300 miles practically brand new for $65,000 or new 16 for $71 ish. At 65 I'm in at one of the least expensive a8 Hellcats. I love the b5 blue but best deal I found was 500 off msrp for 71,250.
