Faster heat transfer after wide open throttle, lower I/C temps after each pass at the track, cooler top end temps at the end of the track. All results in lower ET's due to a denser air charge. Most benefits will be during the warmer months. Most Shelby Cobras see anywhere from 1.5 - 3 tenth decrease in their 1/4 mile times when just replacing OEM with a more efficient heat exchanger depending on how much boost their running, were not replacing..... were adding to the existing OEM exchangers. Hector in PR is about to install one to give us results in a warmer climate right now.

Do this is more a track bolt on, for a car that is normal driving, and only gets on it once in a while the ROI isn't there??

Actually anyone could install and see benefits, if you looking for more track gains I suggest the 3.5" normal street use I suggest the 2"

Are the stock ones in line with yours? Or can they be eliminated. How much extra weight with cooler and additional fluid,

What would be the problem with using the 3.5" for street use??

No problem at all just most consumers do not want to cut the inside of their front Fascia.

Stock ones are located in front of the front tires, Ours sits dead center of the car, I wouldn't eliminate them they work extremely well in conjunction with ours, the foam insert on the challenger weighs just over 4 pounds and gets removed for the install. I have yet to weigh one but their not that heavy, I would guess they are well under 20lbs with coolant.

I do not question the OP's claims. Nor do I questions anyone's ability to upgrade their rides for track usage or any other performance enhancements. I will say this.....My Dad runs the **** out of his cat and hard; (Harder than I will ever push my cat) here in the Mojave desert and we have seen little to no over heat issues when driving in ambient temperatures exceeding 115 in the summer. Once again my statement is not to disclaim the OP or the viability of their product in other extreme usage scenario's or conditions. 2 Cats.jpg

This is not a part to prevent over heat issues, This part is intended to cool the charge temps that will result in a cooler denser air charge that adds power top end, The power actually comes from the car NOT pulling timing due to high I/C temps. If your Dad pushes his car that hard in 115 degree heat, he would definitely benefit from this mod.

We would need to see before and after times with temps, in ambient track temps, to show comparison of gain / advantage. Please post when you can.

LOL he is a NUT with to much ****ing money....I'll pass the info on to him. Thanks
