BIG shout outs to Theo, Cory, and Travis at The Specialists Detail Studio, and Mike and the staff over at PRO-TECT Film Distributors, both in Las Vegas, for hooking Caitlyn up!

Started by sending her to The Specialists to have the paint corrected on the whole front end to prep it for clear bra...

    image.jpg image.jpg

Then off it went to PRO-TECT for PPF over the full fenders, full hood, A-pillars, rockers, headlamps, mirrors, and behind the rear wheels. PRO-TECT also helped me select a shade of ceramic tint that contributed to the overall aesthetic of the car, and blacked out my side and rear markers/reflectors to make it look just sinister...

Then it was back to Theo, Cory, and Travis to have the rest of the car corrected, and have CQF applied over the entire car including the PPF, wheels, and calipers...

They also installed my black lug nuts and wheel locks from Speedlogix, which completes Caitlyn's "transition" Here's what (s)he looks like now...

Hope you guys like it . I couldn't be happier with the results. Both of these businesses are consummate professionals and are experts in their respective skill sets. They collaborate on customer vehicles often, and their respective processes meshed seamlessly as if they have it down to a science. Top notch customer service was what really earned them my business though; every process was explained, all the specs on the products used were provided to me, and I was invited to tour their respective facilities to observe work being performed on other customer vehicles. My car was gone for about a week and they kept me apprised of the progress and sent me pictures regularly. In my opinion, the expense was completely worth it and I felt like I got a great deal. I would highly recommend both The Specialsts Detail Studio and PRO-TECT for all of your paint correction and protection needs.

PM me for contact info for The Specialists Detail Studio or PRO-TECT Film Distributors.

How do you like the C-Quartz?? Does it really enhance the shine in your opinion over a nice wax or polish?

Looks killer. I am going to do something similar except I want to experiment and wrap the hood black matte and the wrap just that with Xpel Phantom which is also matte and the rest Ultimate which is shiny. I have Opticoat on my daily driver. Found after a year getting some swirls so going to polish and correct. Does always make it look slick and wet though.

This is not cheap! My quote for tint full front end and black hood wrap was $3,500 and plus $65/hr. for paint correction prior to doing this work. For reference wrapping the whole car in Expel glossy or matte runs $5,500-$6,500. Have to weigh your options how much you want to invest to preserve your factory paint.

HellScoot is exactly correct, but the HELLCAT is not just another car, so protecting it with the Xpel wrap and a coating will keep it looking factory fresh for a long time. Xpel is warrantied for 10 years, and some coatings will are rated for 3-10 years of durability, and you can also wax over them for even more protection. It's all about enhancement and preservation.

What did you use to cover the side marker lights? Did you get white replacements, then smoke? Or did you use tint or vinyl? Car looks killer!
