Can another Canadian with a VIN confirm drivesrt.com can't give updates?

    Just got off the Live Chat with Jeff and was informed they can no longer give updates to Canadian VIN's and he gave me the 1-800 number for Canada.

    Called the number and was told point blank to call the dealer for any updates.

    Can anyone else confirm this? How much more frustrating can they make this for us?????

    I talked to some fool at the 1-800 number, who did not even know what a window sticker was ! I was looking for a reprint.
    I asked her if she ever bought a car and looked at the window price...all I got was silence
    I asked about an update and after being on hold for 5 mins, I was told to call the dealer too
    what an absolute joke, I think it must be a call center, paying minimum wage
    At this point your best bet would be your dealer or RS

    Good luck...don't let the stress get you too bad !

    I just did it with Veronica and I got the status update and dealer ETA for a canadian VIN never asked where I was from. I just filled in the page at first where they ask name, email and last 8 of VIN. She answers, I say update on VIN please, she gives it to me.

    Did the same with Jeff this morning, and was told to call the 1-800 number. He stated, no info to be given for Canadian VIN's. And this difference between our experiences is also frustrating

    Its called CYOA.......we took way to many orders and have no way to get them all built.........So use the BS and Stall and they might just go away, and with any luck they don't cancel the order.........And I thought the US System was bad.........But Canada takes the Trophy.........I feel bad for all of you.........:(

    I'm just guessing here, but Veronica is probably better looking. LOL

    Still no details for me, but at least she didn't pawn me off to the Canadian phone support folks

    LOL, every time I ever called the SRT line and got Veronica it was always an interesting call... once, when my car was built and had a delivery ETA that slipped, I called and she said she had no info. I asked her to look in VinVision and after acknowledging that I knew some of the systems they use, she then confirmed the new date from VinVision.

    Not much help until the car goes D1. I can only hope I'll go from "D" to "D1" and beyond, instead of backing up to "C", or even "BX"
