I have to be honest was going to trade in the Hellcat once the Shelby arrived. After 4,000 miles there is no way I would ever be that stupid. I love my cat. Even the wife loves it and was way blown away by interior and quality. I love that and power. Sephia interior w granite crystal just had me at hello.

Guys on Mustang forum are all worked up and stumbling all over themselves to get my 10k adm order. It's classic

Good choice. You'd miss the low end torque for sure. That 5.2 is an awesome motor but high strung.. power doesn't start coming till 4k.

That's great! I'm glad you were able to decide that now rather than figuring it out after the trade.

Well, minimum cost for a GT350R is 63K. If you add tech or any other options they add up quickly. I'm figuring an average one is going for 70K MSRP. Then the OP said that he's paying a 10K ADM. So figure 80k.

The tests I've read suggest that it's better to go with a regular GT350. The r is nice but pricey and if you're not going to race it its better to go with the standard.

From a comfort, room, aesthetics, acceleration standpoint... among many other things... the Mustang and Camaro aren't even close! Good thing you realized what you have before you give it up.;)

My dealer put an 18 K mark up on the 50th anniversary pony. Probably will do that on the first couple shelbys.

I don't even want to know what the ADM was on the 37 2015 shelby's that were sold

people here were getting on the Dodge Dealers on the mark up on the Hellcats but fact is the Ford dealers are far worse on the special Mustangs.

I agree. Something tells me the 137 top Ford Dealer owners have a future million dollar mustang sitting in their garage.

It was 78k as got electronics. Don't get me wrong in ten years may be the more valuable car. Of course my ZR1 and 89 ta anniversary i sold for less than sticker down the road after buying new.
Ford guys love there special addition mustangs. Thing is they can all be easily copied and looks wise you could always see a 19 year old kid pull up next to you in same car almost. That hasn't happened with the cat

Actually, just before I got my Cat I was at Starbucks and when I pulled in I saw what I thought was a hellcat. But it wasn't, it was an SXT with cheap knockoff wheels, a hellcat hood that was painted this horrible flat black paint, it looked like he took a can of spray paint and painted it, and painted the calipers red.

I've seen online a guy put the front bumper of the Hellcat on his 392 and put the hellcat hood on. Now that car you would swear was a hellcat, as long as he didn't open the hood.

2 completely different cars.......if you wanted the HC performance you should have tried a 13/14 GT500 for -$10+k off

also the GT350r will most likely have a higher value in 20+ years.....if you planned on keeping it for long term...

i agree w/ your choice though.....i really could care less about handling...its not like your going to be going 100mph on the city streets around corners.....while you can easily do 100mph in a straight line on city streets....better to have a faster car than a car w/better handling
