Good article about the Hellcat and tire types.

Also a good tie in with the types of tires available for the the Hellcat.

I thought the same... What was the DA?

I believe they stated a head wind at the track.

glad to see my choice is #1

next week the nitto's go on!

this article and the 1/4 mile times from the pro racer is why the GT500 forums keep saying they can tie/beat the HC

arent beginners getting 11.5 1/4 miles???

why is this guy so slow?

latest on the gt500 forum is that Dodge had to tune the HC at the track to get 10.8 and take multiple passes and keep adjusting the tune of that car...basically saying 10.8 is rigged and that Dodge tuned 1 car to get 10.8

this article is all that crowd needs to reinforce it.

That article is pretty fucky, if you ask me.

So slicks gain 1 tenth vs the stock Pirellis? Mkay...

Except we have already had 2 members run 10's so that argument is mute.

I think there is a key thing being overlooked. A 15mph head wind, and the Hellcat is still pulling 119mph traps.

So a wide tire only helps lateral grip? Is that what that said-has nothing to do with forward traction? That is the biggest pile of shit I have ever heard, I truly think.

    May 2015, Vol 60, No. 11

It has a fold out poster of the new Ford GT as the front cover.
