What are the thoughts on a machine car wash? Touch less or not.. What it affects under my hood? Water going though my hood, etc...

Water gets under your hood when it rains... Zero issue.

Only hand wash done with my hands on my cat, I wash the engine at the same time I wash the car so water in the vents is no issue. I don't drive mine every day so I can get away with hand washes I guess. I don't trust the machines to wash my car...

Not a fan of touch-less, doesn't do a good enough job, if I don't have the time to wash it myself, I go to a brushless place, which is different from touchless. Brushless does a great job for me, been doing it for years never a problem

Watch out for the track that guides the wheels. The Hellcat wheels extend out slightly more than the tire so they will get chipped and scratched by the wheel guide. You have now been warned!!!

Depends on how anal you are about your paint. Automated car washes cause a lot of swirl marks in the paint which are more noticeable on darker colors. It doesn't matter if the wash is brushless or has brushes. The debris that gets trapped in the cloths and brushes cause swirls.

Touch less car washes are okay, but they use very harsh detergents that are not good for wax or clear coats. Not bad to use them from time to time, but all the time will weaken the clear coat.
