Just wanted to share, cleaned them up and got them together. Viper sure looks small next to the Cat.

Have owned the Viper since 07, it is an 01 Sapphire Blue GTS. I have driven it cross country from New York to Vegas, California.

Got the cat in April '15. Don't drive the viper much anymore with the new guy around. But fall back in love with it every time I get it out. It's like a time machine.

    Cheers,
    Gavin

Both are beautiful! I love the Challengers, but I have always had a soft spot in my heart for the Vipers. :)

... And so does his gen 2.
A viper makes no sense in owning one until you drive it. My gen 1 was uncomfortable, hot, hard to see out of, windy, and didn't handle the best. Every time I went a while without driving it I thought to myself why do I own this car? Then you go for a spin and it all comes back and wonder what other car would I rather own? That's what owning an old viper is like.

Very nice. I'm surprised at how much bigger the Hellcat is. I mean, I knew it was bigger, just not so much.

I know the feeling you have with the Viper!

I have been debating selling my Prowler for the last couple of months.(Driven the Prowler maybe 200 miles this year) Last night the wife and I took for a nice drive in the country for about an hour.

I think it will make it through the winter!

Nice rides. Amazing how big the Challenger looks in the nose to nose pic.
I need to do that with my 91 Miata, just for laughs.

There are few cars I believe will be collectors items in the future...but I think the Prowler will be the exception. Love those cars...except for the front bumpers, which are a required thing I know...

    front bumpers are not "required"

I have had it 10 years and can sell it (had an offer this summer) for a little bit more than I paid for it.

Your Sapphire Blue GTS is a fairly rare car. Do you have the Cognac Connolly Leather interior? That is even rarer! I talked with an instructor at SRT Track Experience yesterday (09/01/15) held at Road America who has the Sapphire Clue with Silver Stripes and Cognac Connolly Leather interior. Very nice cars! Thanks for posting!

I had to sell my 93 to get the hellcat. Apparently being a stay at home father doesn't justify having two fun cars. I will never understand women. My three old daughter asked yesterday where the viper went. And I told her it was gone. She said we need to get it back. I couldn't even argue with her about it. In twenty years some lucky asshole is going to get a great women. image.jpg image.jpg

Man those red '93's are so classic. Something about this Gen 1 rims. Looks just like the toy models (in a good way). How long did you own it?
