    NUMBER: 18-016-15
    GROUP: Vehicle Performance
    DATE: February 28, 2015

SUBJECT: Flash: 6.2L Powertrain Diagnostic And System Enhancements

OVERVIEW: This bulletin involves reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with the latest
    available software.

MODELS: 2015 (LA) Dodge Challenger Hellcat

NOTE: This bulletin applies to vehicles built on or before February 13, 2015 equipped with a 6.2L engine
^^^ UPDATE 04/03/2015 - Now applies to vehicles built on or before March 10, 2015. Revised TSB 18-016-15a is attached below

    SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
A small number of customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL)
Illumination. Upon further investigation, the technician may find one or more of the
following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) stored in the PCM memory.

    · P0300 - Multiple Cylinder Misfire (manual transmission applications only).
    · P1613 - Turbocharger/Supercharger Boost Pressure Sensor/Mass Air Flow Sensor Correlation.
    · P2227 - Barometric Pressure Circuit Performance

In addition, customers may also comment that, with the cluster set on metric units, they are
unable to accurately increase or decrease the cruise control set speed using the resume or
set buttons. Instead of changing vehicle speed by 1 KPH when pressing the buttons, the
vehicle speed will increase approximately 1.6 KPH.

Well, I won't be home until summer. I guess that gives me plenty of time to research service departments in my area to have all the TSB inspections, recalls, Uconnect updates and ecm updates done.

I sure do miss the old days when an oil change was all I had to worry about when pulling a car out of storage.

Thanks for the update RS as always!

    Lmao...Indeed.

I only come home a few weeks a year and I'm not looking forward to losing the better part of a day with my cat. :(

So did anyone get this update done on their cars? I brought this up with my dealership last week during the hose fix and they said that nothing showed up under my vin. I have an appointment on wed and I would really like to take care of everything in one go and not leave anything hanging.

How do we get these dealers to perform this update when they keep insisting that our cars don't qualify for the update and that they have no fix available for a non existent issue?? Their standard line seems to be "why fix something when it ain't broke." WTF..:mad: There has to be some more ownership and accountability/ responsibility taken by these dealers as it has been clearly established, that there is a TSB 18-016-15 courtesy RS. Sorry for the mini rant...lol, however it does get frustrating after a while, when dealers claim that you are making up stuff and that there is no TSB to their knowledge. If there is an update available then I would most definitely like to take advantage of that facility and be upto date.

They can't and won't do an update unless it shows up in their system.

Yes I forwarded an email with the TSB attachment however they are absolutely content on going by the book and making sure that it shows up in their system.

Yes that's what I suspected as well. I wonder how they were aware of the hose clamp TSB and not this one. There definitely appears to be a distinct disconnect between FCA/ SRT and the dealerships. These "Roll outs" or bulletins should be common knowledge at the dealerships.

Yeah I gotta check again later this week with my service manager so I can get my updates checked again and see if I qualify this time around.
