I saw that another catch can thread had come up and I'm sure we all thought the same thing when we saw it. I have read all of the threads here on catch cans and I think there is a decent amount of value added by seeing how many of us are deciding to use them.

The intent of this thread is not to start a drawn-out catch can discussion; it's just to see what the majority of us are choosing.

Hemi engines pull a lot of oil out of the valve cover and a catch can is needed to keep that oil out of the supercharger and combustion chambers. It's a must have.

You know the HC engines already have one right?

Are you talking about that plastic piece of junk that catches nothing and is on all Hemi engines except the Hellcat? It's useless.

I dont know anything about catch cans. But if its so necessary then why didn't the engineers at Dodge include a catch can in the design? Serious question. Not being argumentative.

    Ummm. No.

HC engines have oil separators built into both valve covers.
