Parked the Hellcat for the winter this afternoon. :( Cold temps, bad traction, high dew point, slippery roads, hordes of deer, and other critters on the road, yep...it's Michigan! It's a sad day and going to be a long winter (again). At least she's more or less safe and I can focus my daydreaming on spring! I envy the folks that get year round Hellcat fixes! Are we there yet?

I'm holding out as long as I can here in Upstate NY. It's been a beautiful weekend here, so I've been driving it quite a bit. Son #3 returns from New Zealand the week of Thanksgiving, and he really wanted to go for a ride before I put it away. Hey, a guy can hope right?

The weather here is just starting to get nice. Day time high's in the 90's with night time lows in the 60's. My Hellcat loves it. :)

WT, hope you can give me some much needed advice. I currently drive a 2014 Jeep GC Overland in the winter. It's a great car, but I came to the sudden realization that the brakes just aren't cutting it (I've been spoiled) after driving my Hellcat and a 2014 Porsche Cayman S all summer. I've spent the afternoon researching the possibility of putting the Brembo package on the Overland but I'd have to get the 20" SRT rims and it's uncertain that's I'd ever get my money out of it. The point is, I'm addicted to those brakes! I'm tempted to trade in the Overland for a 2015 GC SRT-8 because of the brakes and handling and swapping out the summer tires for Blizzaks. Have you have any experience with the SRT-8 in the snow? Thoughts? (Anyone else please chime in, thanks!)
