After seeing what we were doing on the Redline Red Hellcat we recently posted, the owner of this Phantom Black Hellcat also booked his Hellcat for a full correction, Xpel Film on the front nose cone and Cquartz Finest to keep everything protected and easy to maintain. We also removed the wheels to apply Cquartz Finest to the wheel faces and inside barrels, as well as the brake calipers. All glass was then coated with our Extreme Glass Coating, giving a similar effect of Rain-X, but lasts up to 1-year.

    Pre-Inspection & Paint Correction
Unfortunately, I was on a bit of a time crunch, I got into a groove during the correct process and I forgot to take photos showing the areas after polishing. Rest assured, ALL defects were removed completely by the end!

The owner requested that we debadge the rear center light on the car, which would then be replaced with a custom reflective Hellcat decal.

Once removed, we were able to access the panel with a 3" polisher to remove the scratches in the plastic. Before Polishing.

New Hellcat Decal Applied. Under normal light conditions, its black and very subtle.

Once light is shined on it, it reflects back, much like the decals on a police vehicle.

    Xpel Ultimate Paint Protection Film
Xpel Ultimate Paint Protection Film was applied to the nose cone to protect against road debris and rock chips. Sorry, again on a time crunch, so I wasnt able to take photos during the install.

    Wheels Off Cquartz Finest Treatment
Each wheels was then removed to be cleaned inside and out, then coated with Cquartz Finest to help aid in brake dust management. The brake calipers were also cleaned and coated with Cquartz Finest. To top things off, all plastic fender trim was dress for a "like-new" look.

Thanks Billy. You did a great job and I'm obviously very pleased. Especially cleaning the front wheels. So far anyway, the brake dust washes off with a garden hose.

Maybe now you can come down and coat my driveway. the brake dust hoses off the wheels easily and sticks to the pavers.

Billy, did you find any difficulties in the XPel application?
Specifically, are there any areas that left bubbles, or area where you had to stretch the film a bit and get any stretch marks in the film? Or had to free cut around that left not so great cut lines?
    Thanks for insight.

My installer has over 10 years of experience, so hes pretty good if not the best in the state of Florida. No issues at all with the nose cone, full hood on a Hellcat is a different story. Still able to achieve a really good install, but its much more difficult.

I can tell you that I can't see evidence that the bra is even there. Maybe they just told me they installed it:confused:. Truthfully it looks great. I wished after I saw it that I had done the whole front end.

Lew, we can still add the rest of the front end at any time if you decide to go that route. We will put the Cquartz Finest over it again once its done. You know how to reach me. ;)

    Thanks PD
The reason I ask is I have a full front end Xpel Clearbra, but I have several areas with small bubbles, a couple stretch marks, and even a couple places with some uneven cuts. The one 4-5 inch wide area that's below the hood and above the headlights I was told he would "redo" when he gets a spare piece to recut because he had to lift the corner up after a spec of dirt got in there. In the process of putting it back down, he had to stretch it quite a bit and there are some stretch marks.
However, that was like 2 months ago, and I've yet to be able to get him to pull that piece off and put a new one on.
I'm now a bit worried about pulling the old piece off, hoping it won't damage my paint/clear coat in the process.
But I've had many clear bras put on before and haven't had as many little bubbles or imperfections as I have on this one.
This installer is pretty well known in my area, even had a local NBA player do his Hellcat too.
But I've never been pleased with the install. I've even had to take a blade myself and trim off a couple areas that were peeled up a bit or not laying flat.
I was led to believe that the Challenger's front is quite difficult to do. :(

Where did you get the reflective Hellcat sticker from?

Just curious, how much do these treatments cost? Trying to financially plan is all.
