Question, did someone here post in the recent past they changed a 2015 Challenger SRT non Hellcat front fascia out to a OEM 2015 Challenger Hellcat front fascia?? Can it even be done without a great degree of
    difficulty.

You will need a plastic rivet tool. There are around 30 rivets in the front end.

Couldn't find me because there was an extra T in there ;)

Yes, I did the swap... i had to get a new impact bar as well as the plastic bumper cover. Also, if you want to do it right you would need the skids plate. I didnt get one and i guess there is some openings down there, but not much of a concern.

if you have the front radar you will either have to cut your hellcat bumper or not have cruise control anymore.

There really isnt too much into it rather than try to find a painter that can match your paint correctly.

Holy crap... really? And we used to think up-badging was bad.

are you implying that putting on a bumper is the equivalent of purposely trying to lie to people just like upbadging?

I'm not "implying" anything... I'm clearly saying that putting a Hellcat front end and hood on a non-Hellcat is the same type of lie that upbadging is.

In the early days of the LX platform we would see SXT owners putting on fascias from SRT8s, and they took a ton of flak for it too.

All SRT vehicles get a 'facelift' in order to visually distinguish their vehicles from the rest of the MOPAR fleet as well as attempt to improve on aerodynamics. In some cases the SRT is no more slippery in the wind tunnel, the change was done simply as a visual queue that this is in fact an SRT flagship vehicle.

This is no different than the guys who buy a Mustang GT and doll it up like a Shelby.

    Y
You'd hate my guts then. I once put a Viper style hood on a Ram 3500 dually.

Personally, I don't think anyone noticed it wasn't a Viper.

    waa waa waa...

I like the bumper... i put on the bumper....

if there was any other aftermarket options i would do that... but there isn't.... so get over it.

Dont worry, when i put the 426 with a whipple on it in January i will have the "426" of the side to differentiate from your precious kitty.
