Does any one know if you change a current order that is price protected will the price protection remain or does it automatically go to the new MSRP?

The reason I ask is I have a very strong feeling my car will be rolled to a 2016 model year. If this is the case and Plum Crazy is an optional color I will be changing my order.

Its my understanding that you can change options up until the point it goes D1.

And if it goes to 2016 I wouldn't count on it being at 2015 price. I have no info but companies are there to make money and they will sell the car.

Thanks. Ya pretty sure you can change options just wondering if it kicks out the price and replaces it with the current MSRP.

If they are not building a 2015 vehicle then it wouldn't be the 2015 price.

Pretty sure if the car you get is a MY16, it'll be at that price point. When I ordered my truck, it was made very clear that if it got bumped to the next model year, I would be subject to the increased price.

Thanks! Kinda figured that on model year change. My poc does have a line that says price protection. Does anyone know if I change something like the wheels right now if that will adjust to the new msrp on this model year?

If you change an option the POC will change to reflect that. I dropped the Laguna leather and the new POC was priced lower to reflect the change. That being said, the only way of changing an option on a VON now is by your dealer getting his rep to do it. It cannot be done through Dealer Connect. Good luck!
