I pulled the trigger on the aluminum DS and picking up a set of wheels/tires so I can get this thing down the 1/4 with some conviction. I don't plan on doing any other mods to the car but I'm curious what kind of 60' I may expect out of the car. I see the Challenger owners are normally in the 1.5x to 1.6x with a DR or better stock so I'm hoping the Chargers can boogy just the same.

Please share your best 60 and setup.

I think my Best 60' with just the Al Driveshaft and DR's was a 1.56 I'd have to check if there are any better, but probably not much if so.
    My fastest pass of a 10.8 @127.99 my 60 ft was 1.60
My Charger didn't stay this way for long, It was the R+D test car for Josh/HHP AJ/Hemituner for Diablo Tuning and parts installs.

Thanks Linda! That's what I'm looking to hear. What rear tire/wheel combo were you running back then?

First I had the 20 inch Nittos. They were mounted on an extra set of wheels from my Furious Fuchsia 2010 SRT8.
Nittos do like to be heated well. With a nice smokey burnout I had no problem hooking and running 11.0's all day long.

My husband next bought MT ET street 20's for better 60 ft's/ET's That's when I got my best ET 10.8 still stock and the 1.56 to 1.60 60 ft's

We knew my Charger was going to be modded and the test car for tuning to begin.
My husband ordered the MT ET street R's. At the time they were brand knew and not out yet.
The wait was well worth it.
They were MT ET street R's 305 45 18 R's mounted on 18x10 weld wheels.
With Tuning and mods installed I ran low 10's
    Goal was getting into 9's
Changing out the OEM rear gear to a 309 really had the car launch like a race car should and the 60 and ET came down.
    Blower only 9.71@ 140.39 with a 1.41 60 ft.
I really liked the tires set up better with the 309 gears.

The word spread Fast how good these tires were for hooking, and many have been sold. I believe some run these with just the Drive shaft change.

HHP can quote you on tire and wheel needs.

This is great information. Thanks for sharing. I've been in touch with the folks from HHP and picked up an aluminum driveshaft however I'm still debating the wheel/tire combo. I do not have plans to swap the rear yet so I'm leaning towards the MT S/S tire which is OE overall diameter versus the inch taller MT ET R's. The MT S/S was recommended by HHP when I inquired about a wheel/tire set for my otherwise stock HC.

Best run is 10.81@127.3 mph with 1.609 sixty foot. Stock with aluminum DS. MT ET Streets 305/35 20's on OEM wheels.
