Is this true? How is this possible when all he advantages seem to be with the Vette?

The Charger Hellcat weighs over 1000 lbs more 3500 to 4592 lbs.

If any of my numbers are wrong, please help me and correct and I am only speaking about top speed with the Hellcat @ 204 mph, can't find any Corvette beating that speed.

Aerodynamically the Vette has a smaller frontal sq. ft area, best numbers I can find are about Vette 21 sq ft frontal area and the Hellcat is about 25.9 sq ft. Cd for Vette about .29 and Hellcat .33. Advantage - Vette.

Same torque @ 650 and HP is only 57 hp advantage for the Hellcat. 6.5 hp/lb to 5.5 hp/lb for the Vette

Height for the Vette is 10 inches less 48.6 to 58.3 Advantage- Vette

Automatics have very similiar 6th gear 33.4 mph/1k to 32.6 mph/1k for top speed and the Vette has a higher redline ( fuel cutoff ) 6.6 k to 6.2 k for the Hellcat.

How can a Charger Hellcat have a higher top speed then a Corvette ZO6, the most powerful Corvette ever made?

I think I know how, the Hellcat is putting out more HP then we are led to believe

The Z06 has alot more down force for corners just like the acr viper I think it's top speed is like 186 the zr1 doesn't have as much down force and top end was computer limited at 205

A Z06 was dyno tested back to back against a bone-stock Hellcat, and they both are rated from the factory with identical torque figures of 650; Yet, on an actual dyno, the Hellcat put a whopping 81 MORE foot pounds down to the rear tires than the 'equal' vette did!
Chevy apparently gave their top motor unrealistic optimistic ratings, hoping to sway some buyers from the SRT products over to the vette, while Dodge went the other direction, UNDER-rating their formidable 6.2 liter powerplant significantly.

I have personally seen a dyno display more torque at the back wheels of a Hellcat than specified at the crank. Can't be the only one that exists. That is part of the story that makes people shake their heads when they line up.

Hellcats are typically 730-740 at the crank so yes underrated.

I remember reading several articles that stated every engine shipped to Brampton was tested for like 45 minutes and was pushing 800 + HP

Real World feedback: Sunny Dry day in October, In the Cat (A8) cruising south on I-95, just coming back from a car show. White 2016 ZO6 comes up through traffic from behind.
I am in the left lane he is in the right. Traffic opens up,... I grab a couple clicks downshift on the left paddle. We both mat it. I keep a pretty consistent 2 car gap from my back bumper to his front which is how we started. Now when we first took off it seemed like he was starting to slowly, I mean slowly make up some of the distance and reel me in. BUT,... Once hitting the higher speeds, his car seemed to fade and he was not able to pull alongside or pass me on the right. Now the important part here to consider is I have the A8, and I only dropped it like down to 6th gear and matted it going like 65 mph maybe slower,( we slowed down on purpose to let the traffic in front get way ahead.) I know I massively blew it in a way because and I was thinking while I was driving a bit later, I said shit, I only downshifted to 6th and I could of dropped it like down to 2nd or 3rd and really been in my power and would've probably pulled a huge lead and kept it, probably even get a little wheel smoke going for effect for the two minivans behind us that got to see the show. :) When he pulled up after the first roll on, he had his camera out and was taking pictures of the HC. I was like no way!! We had a nice laugh. Anyway after we paid our respects I did drop it down to like 2nd gear at about 50mph and just punched it. When I looked back the white corvette was just sitting back there in the distance, like the dude did not want any more of the HC!! So yeah the HC is faster, let's say in a straight line that the ZO6, IMHP--

My bad, for clarification, I have a Chally HC.

Thats why I like racing Hellcats at the track. To be the best you have to beat the best.
