There are twenty two fasteners to remove the belly pan eight 7 millimeter screws and four 10 millimeter bolts and 10 push pins. Oil filter holds one half quart. More to come once I'm done. more to come once I'm done.

What did you take the belly pan off and then put yourself down for a nap  More to come when B5 Blue wakes up and finishes the job.

Someone on here cut in a access door so it is faster to change the oil. I'm thinking that I'm going to be doing it too.

But with that my question is could you just leave the hole in the belly pan? Do you need to cover it up? It's only on there for aerodynamic purposes and I'm not planning on going 200 MPH any time soon.

Well my 2012 Durango has access panels cut which is sooooo nice for changing the oil. Seems to me that it wouldn't make that much of a difference if you were to cut them and leave the hole in the panel.
