    Picked up my Scat Pack Charger on Tuesday of this week and she just got back from getting the windows tinted today. I can tell you one thing, if you get the Scat Pack you absolutely will not be disappointed. For me it was a value thing, the 15.4 brakes compared to the 14.2 stood out to me but after testing out the 14.2 brakes already, I can say they are no slouch! PLENTY of stopping power. The adjustable suspension on the SRT's is awesome however the scat pack has sport mode as well and for a family sedan I didn't see myself honestly needing that option as it likely wont see the track. Finally the 245 tires I must admit I wanted swapped out immediately for the 275s, but after a few days of driving with the upgraded 245 BSW performance ones Ill admit they get the job done. So it is really personally preference but you are right about the common denominator with the 392 motor and MAN is it SWEET!! Cant go wrong with either option you choose that's for sure.

    Great color. That 392 is definitely a nice motor. The new 8 speed transmission is really nice.

    Couple of things not mentioned here;

    - ScatPacks are the '15 version of the '14 SRT Core. So, same brakes, single-mode suspension, etc. You are really getting an SRT-equipped car without the SRT badges, which is tremendous value in my books.

    - Scat Packs do not have a forged rim option. In addition to the larger rim and tire package, you're also getting a regular aluminum rim that will weigh a touch more than a forged aluminum rim. The tradeoff is that they're not $1k to replace from the dealer. What does that translate to real-world, day-to-day-differences? Infinitesimally small differences in performance. Plus, you can always put a 255 or 275 tire on the Scat Pack rims.

    - Personally, I really like the colored Bee logos on the seats that come with the Scat Pack appearance package...

    If I was choosing today, I'd have a hard time between a loaded Scat and base SRT. The real big difference, in my opinion, is the adaptive suspension. I've only had to make a handful of panic stops in my SRT, and I have never thought to myself "if only these were six-piston Brembos instead of four". I also look at total cost of ownership - those bigger pads and rotors up front can come with a bigger replacement cost.

    You can order the forged wheels (they are 9.0 rather than 9.5) on the Scat Pack (Challenger at least... Haven't checked the Charger). They are a $1000 option.

    No rim options for the chargers. Just the one.

    Seems like an older thread but I will bump it up just to say I bought the '15 Charger SP because I had a limit of about $45K. For that, I added the blindspot, leather heated seats, then took the stock wheels and sold them just after I found a set of factory WRT wheels to install.... DONE under $45K. Do I wish maybe I had the adjustable suspension, maybe, but the brakes on the SP are JUST FINE with me. That car stops NOW. Most bang for the buck you can get if you leave the seats as cloth and keep it at the $41K base price. 5 passenger rocket / cruiser depending on your mood.

    Billet silver is an under rated color. Not the most popular color but it's a head turner. I think it makes the car look more expensive than many other colors.

    For Canada, the price variance between the SRT 392 and Scat Pack is much smaller than in the US. It almost leaves no room for the Daytona 392, which to date still isn't reflected on the Canadian site.

    I just built my SRT 392 with Granite Crystal, Tech Package and Sunroof.
    Spec'ing a Scat Pack to match that as much as possible, it only came to about $2,000 cheaper.

    It was hard for me to justify spending the extra money on the SRT for a few extras. Ive found the 6 piston brembos for 1k and a taser for the srt pages. I dont need the adjustible suspension and ill sell my old 4 piston brembos and make up most of my money so im not comming out of pocket very much at all.
