    Well, I had started a thread couple of months ago in the Charger SRT 392 forum, trying to garner opinions/viewpoints on the Scat Pack Charger. I was also considering the SRT 392 Charger at the same time.

    Charger Scat pack vs Charger SRT 392 SRT Hellcat Forum

    I test drove the new 2015 SRT 392 Charger and boy I was absolutely sold on the new SRT charger. The problem is that my 2nd performance coupe (2014 GT500-Shelby) being a 2 door just like the Challenger HC... made it slightly redundant/expendable. For me and my family getting a four door sedan became absolutely imperative without compromising on the performance quotient. I had considered the CTS-V/M4 and even the KIA900(which by the way is a phonemenal car).

    I finally narrowed it down to the charger scat pack and the Charger SRT-392. The SRT-392 with the adjustable suspension and superior wheels/brakes appeared to have the edge due to my familiarity with the Chally SRT-HC. The scat pack is the best bang for the buck...no two ways about it, but I could not live without the SRT features.

    Now for the Proverbial "Curve Ball" I was all set to trade in my GT-500 Shelby for the SRT Charger on 6/1 and was Indulging in some innocuous banter with my friend/sales GM at the dealership...when he brought something (absolutely unexpected) to my attention. .....

    Let's cut to the chase......

    I ended up trading my 2014 GT-500 Shelby
    For.....................................

    The 2015 Charger Hellcat :D:eek::D
    Phantom Black (tri-coat pearl)
    Sunroof
    Brass monkey's
    NAV
    Harmon Kardon audio :eek::eek::eek:
    Summer Performance Tires

    $5k over msrp....brought it down from the insane 25k asking price(adm). No regrets whatsoever as 5k adm is considered a steal in my neck of the woods...could not believe that the legend of the charger HC existed...it seemed so mythical, especially here in CA.

    I have Actually managed to put in over 500 (574) miles in 3 days which means I achieved the break-in and can now unleash the beast without any conscience. It took me 45 days less than what it took me to achieve that feat on the challenger HC. Absolutely incredible car and I dare say I am enjoying the overall charger HC experience more than even the HC Chally. I am slightly more biased towards the charger as it seems to be a little more balanced and well mannered on the road. I honestly cannot put a finger on it, but I really feel it handles better out of the two. I guess I am now 100% Mopar, I am also contemplating changing my username to MopargarageLA...LOL!!!

    Outside the dealership...when I first laid my eyes on it:

    Congrats on getting your 2nd Hellcat! That has to be an amazing feeling having 2 Cats in your garage. That will never happen to me, but I'm happy to hear your story and the great deal that you received in Cali. Enjoy your hell Baby to the Max!.....Both of them. :)

    The sparkly nature of the Phantom tri coat In the sun is amazing. It's almost like you get 2 colors(black/grey). You could consider an auto garage lift to accommodate 2 cars.

    Getting a 4 door performance sedan was paramount. And I was actually trading it for a 392 SRT charger before this miraculously showed up. Absolutely no contest!
