Lols great and even better that you posted it for us to see. The black hoods and roofs require the exact attention to detail you give it. Beautiful car and thanks again for posting

These cleaning and detail chemicals you are using, was it a package deal? How much did it set you back?

    Thank you!

Some of the items where apart of a package, some not. I have almost every Adams polishes product they make. I have been using them for years.

Do you use the same soap on the hood and rest of car? Thought satin hood needed different care products.

Thanks for any info, beautiful car

Adams polishes soap doesn't give a "shine" . I do have special detail spray and paint sealant for the hood. Now I have the entire hood covered in xpel clear bra stealth. So it will always have the matte finish.

So with the xpel on the hood, I guess you can use the same soap for the entire car. I have the satin hood and it is a bit of a pain to wash it separately from the rest of the body.

Yes, it will always retain its matte finish. Also I used the same soap on my hood anyways. I think as long as you don't use any high gloss soap you should be ok. Mine has always stayed matte.

Did you close off your hood vents while washing?

I put a towel underneath. I don't believe you have to though. It is exposed to the elements anyways. As long as you don't blast water directly in the vents you should be ok.

This is before I preformed a wash and strip on my car this weekend. After they clear bra install half the vehicle had no wax. So it gave me a excuse to do a full detail! After drying I did a clay bar to remove any paint contamination, then followed with a coat of Adams paint sealant & buttery wax!
