coil cover painted

    I had a little time to kill today so I started playing around with the coil cover.. painted the center part red....doing the air box now,, but the T in SRT keeps giving me hell...what do you guys and Tammie think

    HC1, that looks absolutely amazing! What method did you use to paint? Air brush, by hand, or some other method. Keep in mind when if you're willing to share that I have NO artistic or creative abilities and would be scared if I tried to do that I would just screw it up.

    The SRT was a little bit of a pain but it worked. So here it's what I did, I went to the craft store and bought a solid hard roller, like a paint roller but solid rubber,2" wide. It was only ten dollars.. and on the way how I stopped by auto zone, picked up a can of color match, came home and popped off the coil cover to get them warm,,, sprayed some paint on the cardboard, and run the roller through it, it takes a couple coats,, but likes nice when done..this was the easiest thing I could think of and was really cheap.. I didn't want to have them professionally painted.... if anyone has some thoughts, please let me know..
