So I wake up this morning at 4:30am, jump in the shower and start to get ready. I walk over to my phone, take a look at the temperature and see that it's sitting at 32 degrees here in Houston. Hit the uconnect app, press remote start and finish getting ready for work. Walk outside and get in my nice and warm pitch black A8.

So what I'm basically saying is... Suck it M6 folk lol:p

I hear you! Cold front is headed for S. Florida - it'll get down to 55 on Saturday. Have to fire up the Chiminea......and maybe switch the AC to heat.

Lol. I have the pleasure of starting up my M6 in the garage, pissing off my grouchy neighbor and choosing my music selection while my car is warming up. Since it's a pampered pet in the garage, it's never really cold so it's warm within a minute. The drive to work however is filled with revs, mini burnouts, hole shots and downshifts. My exhaust hits every note and the supercharger jumps in to play. Nope, auto starting my car and missing out on all my play time with the M6 is totally worth it! :D Btw...30 degrees? I'm surprised that didn't result in a State of emergency and shut down. Lolo_O

I hear you Z. I actually got to try the heated steering wheel out this morning. BTW - Has anyone had this issue? It appears that my heated steering wheel shuts off after a short period (maybe 1 min), when I turn it back it on, it stays on???? I figured that it's my spoiled Houston HE77CAT refusing to go out in the cold.

no, my steering wheel stays on until I turn it off (and it gets freaking hot too).

I'll second the cooler air thingy...she loves the cold air good lord. Drove past a bus this morning, figured I'd wake everyone up that was riding to work so I jumped on the go fast pedal and let them all hear 707 horses screaming, "THIS IS YOUR WAKE UP CALL"

I thought you only lived about a half mile away from where you work. That's a lot of driving in that short span. I'm impressed!

I live in an apartment, so outside is the only option. IF oil goes back up a little bit and stabilizes the industry, then I'll buy a house (have 1 house..but the ex wife is living in it with my son...I won't let him grow up without a yard to play in)

normally I would but today she was toasty enough to go without. Was running about 10 minutes. I'm from Pittsburgh, and I'm telling you, 30 degrees in Houston feels like 10 degrees in da burgh. Goes right through you down here.

Same here. I moved to an apt for the kids. Had a house a year later.
