I'm discussing Hellcat performance vs Corvette Z07, Mustang, Camaro ZL1 etc. I thought I saw a Hellcat post with 1.24 as max lateral g-force recently. Anyone have a link to that post (yes, I searched), or some really good numbers to post?
    Thanks!

I think tires and suspension setup are going to be the 2 biggest factors to ultimate grip. Need tires with a lot of grip and a stiff sidewall.

    Exactly!
Once I get to the track with the NT05's I'll post what I was able to achieve.

haha love the video! I run OEM summer tires on the OEM rims for track days. They work good enough and economically it's perfect. I buy them from members with low miles for very little cash. My last 6 tires cost me 300 bucks. With my Drag set up and street set up I just can't justify more money for better tires that will only last a few track days.

Yes, the Pacific Ocean in the background is shot from the bridge over Ten Mile River near Fort Brag. The mountains are inland near the Rubicon Train (Wentworth Springs RD).

Are you commenting on the color/tint of the video or generally, as in, folks need to know our cars handle well at speed? I agree on both, BTW.

On an off topic; when driving back last night toward Clear Lake, CA., there was a de-badged Charger 392. At least I'm hoping it was a 392 because that car was wicked fast. We were neck and neck all the way to triple digits before the mighty Hellcat got past it. Got to love the Mopar faithful!

That's a great idea! BTW! When you run out of others leftovers the BFGs are cheap compared to the OEM set. They also smoke'm in the handling department. Barely a chirp or squeal when running the BFGs hard too.

My M6 HC I drove at Bondurant had somewhere in the 1.2's. They use 285 tires on factory rims.
