Hello all from So Cal, just picked up my 16 Redline Red SRT392 Charger after selling my 2015 Stingray. Been a Corvette owner for 15 plus years so I wanted to try something different.
I had a Scatpak Charger on order but I was out in San Bernadino for work and they by chance had this on the lot so I pulled the trigger. So far I love this thing haven't had this much fun with a car since high school.....

Welcome to the forum and great to hear you're having so much fun with your new Charger SRT. I too am a new Dodge owner and I love the comfort, drive and feel of, in my case, the Challenger. I also have had corvettes in my history so I'm always interested in hearing impressions on the differences and what make the Challenger/Charger so appealing. Enjoy!

I drove a C6 with a stick for 10 years and loved every mile, it was a great car and very comfortable to ride in. When it was time to give up the manual and move on to automatic, I traded my beloved C6 in on the C7 (cuz that's what Corvette nuts do) I just never fell in love with the C7. The cockpit is much more cramped and the seats provide so much lateral support you can hardly move, after an hour or so of driving My back was killing me and I could hardly get out of it..
Performance wise the C7 is an awesome car and delivers an awesome experience.
I have had several Chrysler vehicles over the years and with the exception of a mid 80's Lebaron all were great cars with the 68 340 Foumula S Barracuda and a 2001Intrepid RT topping the list.
I have liked the Charger (the SRT models in particular) since the new body style came out in 06, so I took a closer look and was able to drive a 392 Scatpak and I was hooked, I absolutely look my Charger

I had a C7 (first vet I ever owned). They completely nailed it on design, but I was stunned to drive such cheap car that cost 75$. I traded my 06 SRT8 charger for the Vet and could not be happier to be back in a a Charger and a Hellcat none the less. Just a little compare between the 06 and the 2016 hellcat. The interior is damn near the same. I feel like I just upgraded my SRT8 electronics and engine, but I could not tell the difference between the two on the interior.

The interiors are nowhere even near similar. An 06 Charger and a 16? Close to the same? Theyre so far apart. Maybe im misunderstanding ur post??

No you did not mis-understand. I feel like I am right back in my 06.

Thats really odd. I sell cars. Ive driven and sold tons of 06's and tbh besides the 4 doors im not seeing any similarities really. Maybe the feel of the seating position? I can see the 06-14, but '15+ are totally different interior-wise.
Oh well, you see tomato, i see tomahto lol.

People often comment on how improved the interior is on the 2015's and newer, compared to all the interiors on the pre-2015 models. I get lots of comments and compliments about the stunning interior of my Hellcat, I couldn't be happier, and the black/red looks real racy as well.
