Cquartz is different then Clear bra.

Cquartz is a sealent that protects your paint from light scratching, swirls and etc while also giving it a great shine.

Clear bra protects your car from the above and also from chips and etc but doesn't provide that shine. It just protects what is underneath it.

    Both combined, is amazing.

I had both done. If your goal is protection then it is not a either or choice.

I did both....front clear shield on the area back to the edge of the hood....then CQuartz the rest. Total was $600 for the clear shield and $550 for the CQuartz. Absolutely feel it was worth it. Had the same done to my 2015 Suburban. True believer in both products.

I did both on my Scat Pack, and will likely do both to my Hellcat. It did wonders for the Redline Red on my Scat....I would expect the same on my Redline HC. I paid about 2k. I wish I could get the same deal as Scubabubbles.

Fellas, one thing I would like for you guys to do is when you have a service performed and you state the price, make sure you state exactly what coating you had applied. In the CQuartz product line, there are three coating options, two can be installed by anyone, (Classic and UK), the final is CQuartz Finest and it can only be installed by a certified/qualified installer and it will be higher than the other two mentioned.

When you state a price and don't state the actual product that was applied, you give the false sense that someone got ripped or that someone got a much better deal and in reality it could just be that one got Finest and the other got Classic.

As you can see from this image, pulled from the CQuartz Finest installers map, there should only be one certified installer of CQuartz Finest and that is Brian Menke

They need to update their map....Chris Williams has the CQuartz in stock and is doing applications for the past 6 weeks. He also just finished applying to a buddys Mustang.

My comment was to ask that anyone getting a coating should post which coating they received if they are going to post what they paid. He may indeed have one of the two CQuartz coatings that I mentioned above, Classic and UK. He however is not on the installer map and I can guarantee that the map is up to date for "CQuartz Finest" installers.

Once again, this is not to call anyone out, but if you read thru the post and see the pricing mentioned, this can give someone the false sense that they paid too much, when indeed they just got a different coating.

The warranty for CQuartz Finest is 2 years; however that doesn't mean it just stops working when the warranty is up. Depending on how the car is used, and with proper care, the coating could potentially last beyond 2-3 years. Also, when cared for properly the paint/coating should not accumulate a lot of swirls or scratches; this means that a future 'top up' of the protection will probably cost less than your initial application since less paint correction would be required.
