While washing my car this morning, I found a crack in the passenger-rear Rim. I have less than 2,000 miles and less than 2 months old. I had not noticed it before, so assume it's new. There is no impact/cut/scratch, so I don't think it is front hitting a curb or anything.

Anyone else seen this? I would assume (I KNOW) that this should be covered under the warranty?

    thanks...

Wow! That looks ugly! That's a huge safety issue. It will be interesting if anyone else has this problem. I'll be keeping eye on mine for sure!

    Definitely a warranty issue.

Dang, how hard were you launching? Kidding aside, hopefully this is an isolated issue.

can't see any impact damage. are you sure it's not just a clear coating peeling off?

It is definitely a crack. Starts near bottom of one fork goes up and across it then across to a second fork.

Just let the dealer, they have to send pictures to Chrysler to get approval but they believe it should be covered.

Hopefully they will replace it. I just thought this part looked strange for a crack in metal.
Let us know how it turns out.

I agree, looks like a scratch to me. I can't see how both forks would crack like that without a catastrophic failure... If that is a crack, it is VERY dangerous.

Looks like road tar on the rim. Have you attempted to take it off with your fingernail? Close up pics make it look like it is on the exterior of the rim.
