I remember reading from an article :

Revelation 5: Spinning the twin-screw IHI supercharger is a substantial engineering feat. Washers securing the 10-rib drive pulley to the crankshaft are infused with industrial diamonds to provide sufficient clamping friction. Driving the blower 2.36 times crankshaft rpm to deliver 2.4 liters of air per revolution consumes 80 horsepower. The asymmetrical supercharger rotors spin at different speeds thanks to their interlocking configuration and 3:5-ratio phase gears at the back of the blower. At the 6000-rpm engine horsepower peak, the rotor spun by the belt from the crankshaft turns at 14,160 rpm while its mate spins at 23,600 rpm.

So I ordered a crank bolt which comes with integral washer. Mopar part # 6510536AA.

Well, looks like a regular bolt and washer. Nothing special that I can see. Certainly no diamonds!

Assuming that's the right part, I think all you would need is some diamond dust embedded in the washer to increase the friction coefficient by a significant amount over one without the diamonds. I doubt you would be able to see it... You might be able to feel it though.

Hmmm. This is perfectly smooth on washer surface. It is listed as the right part #.

Maybe I'm stupid today, but why the bolt and washer?

You won't see it, it's infused on a micro level. What did you expect, to be able to extract and sell the diamonds lol

I bought it for when I have the crank pulley pinned. Once the old bolt is removed, it must be replaced.

John, do you have a jewelers loupe or equivalent to look at the washers surface?

Try taking a pic with the close up setting on your phone or camera, may work
