in general you are not covered on the track, unless you belong to a club that has a policy for the event.

    really busted that wall.

While on the topic of CTS-Vs I have a buddy on one of the CTS-V forums and he tells me the attached vid link below appears on their forum with the heading " POOR HELLCAT, JUST CAN'T SEEM TO WIN AGAINST ANYTHING ! "

Can't wait for a good vid of a Hellcat spanking one of their vaunted V's .

Geez, that's terrible. It really looks like something happened...I am not sure that was an operator error. It seems like something broke loose to just shoot across like that??? Obviously, I am not an expert and that could be common if the driver makes a bad steering judgement, I don't know. It just seems to jump to the right so sudden it didn't seem like steering only. That's terrible, poor driver.:(

Wow that happened really quickly. Any explanation? I watched it an couldn't tell if he hit something slick, etc. Hope he is ok.

Moisture & humidity on the track surface?

Barring pilot error or mechanical failure that looks like something on track maybe combined with crosswind. Saw the same thing a long time ago at Milan a yellow Camaro/Firechicken hit second gear and went off track. We had complained earlier about this as a lot of us felt the lack of traction at the same point. On another note good thing the Caddy was the slower car so the right lane car didn't have a T-bone issue.

I agree with Tammie, looks like something went wrong. That car veered right and/or the rear end quickly skidded out that far down the track it seems strange. I suppose some malfunction of nitrous dosing could have started if there was no other malfunction? I can't believe that the CTS engine suddenly developed that much sudden power on its own to cause such a sudden loss of control.

I work for a construction company and yep he hit those barriers HARD to bust several of them. But they did do their job and help take the energy out of something that could have even gone worse.
