I've got about 275 miles on my car and my far left driver vent rattles on certain types of pavement.

If you press your hand up to it in the bottom lefthand corner, it goes away.

The chrome inlet has a little bit of wiggle room to it, along with the black trim piece right behind it.

Firmly pressing up against it stops it completely.

Curious if anyone else has had the same issue and what they did about it.

I'm not going to take it to the dealership or take it apart or anything because I know thats just going to make it worse.

What I was thinking about doing is getting some plumbers tape or something non-adhesive thats very thin and trying to stuff some around the edges of it and see if that gets rid of the rattle/jiggle.

That will take care of the black part of it rattling (if thats what is rattling) but not if the chrome trim inset is causing the noise.

I have a feeling its the black plastic part though and giving it a few extra MM of extra 'padding' should resolve it.

Option B is taking kind of glue or epoxy or something and very carefully get some around the bottom edges of it where it meets the carbon-fiber-ish panel and press really hard and hope it sticks and seals it.

Anyone else have any ideas on how to remedy this?

I had a similar issue in my AMG that I owned before this, and unfortunately I was *never* able to find a remedy for it and it drove me absolutely bonkers.

Lucky for me though this issue in my challenger can be resolved by just pressing up against it with my hand.

The AMG rattle issue was hidden beneath the ashtray and there was no way to fix it without repeatedly popping off the center console trim pieces, unplugging everything.

I took that ***** apart at least 20 times, had it very close to fixed 100% rattle free maybe 3 times, and got greedy trying to completely get rid of it.

You are doon. My car has a lot of rattle and i have been to the dealership countless times, talk to the SRT guy and they just tell me that they cant/dont want to do anything with the car.
Its my problem.and that i can take the to court if if I want.
You need to fix it yourself, cause Dodge will not.

Turns out the vent just wasn't seated properly.

After playing around with it and pressing it up/down into certain corners I re-seated it and it seems to have gone away.
